Controls Engineer

Design of embedded software for multi-axis clinical automation equipment.  Support and solve technical issues with field units.  

Achievements:
Modify existing object oriented device code to alter functionality and configuration of new generation device in C++.
Reduced digital logic components with CPLD and developed VHDL code to mimic original design.
Helped design firmware for 2 and 4 axis motor controller board using Freescale DSP processor.
Altered existing communication protocol in conjunction with PC application software engineers to allow for more flexibility in command queuing.
