On May 9th, 2015, I graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree. My time at the University of Maine has been highly beneficial in preparing me for the future in engineering. My studies have introduced me to a wide range of practices, including both text and hands on applications. The Mechanical engineering curriculum has given me the skills needed to be confident and successful in the innovative world of engineering. In the summer of 2014 I started my first engineering internship at IDEXX Laboratories in Westbrook, Maine. I could not have asked for a better place to start my career in engineering than at IDEXX. I am extremely fortunate to work at such a great company full of great people. In my free time I am a pretty active person. Living in Maine has given me an appreciation for being outdoors and adventurous. I love the beach, camping and skiing the peaks of Maine with friends and family.
