Jodi Beck is a graduate of California State University Long Beach in Fashion Merchandising. Growing up in a family of building and marketing entrepreneurs was an advantage when seeking her job at Quiksilver Inc. Blue prints, marketing brochures, architects and contractors were familiar to her as a child and provided valuable assistance when stepping into the Visual Arts market place. Her decade at Quiksilver Inc. gave her the opportunity to create a diverse array of environmental design spaces within a global organization that went from $312 million to $2.3 billion. During this time Jodi developed an expertise in all aspects of a project from beginning to end. As Director of Visual Arts she oversaw a staff of 25 and was responsible for the implementation of residential, commercial buildings, retail stores, tradeshow booths and events for all the Quiksilver brands including Quiksilver, Roxy and DC shoes. For the last several years Jodi has been focusing her energy at Molly Wood Garden Design. Here she has been expanding her design and business skills into the outdoors; creating structure and increasing revenue for the firm as it continues to expand into the retail sector. As Jodi continues to grow personally and professionally she finds herself drawn back to her original passion of environmental design, hospitality, event production, retail and promotions. Her vision is to incorporate all of the “business of the arts” categories in her career while working with an empowering team. Jodi’s balance of both creative and analytical skills, vision, self motivation, loyalty, organization and passion give her the edge to take on any challenge to create the desired outcome.
