Receive all receipts to prototype warehouse using Peoplesoft ERP system. Log all receipts into warehouse locations. Pull orders for prototype lab and deliver. Help Broadcom employees pull orders for shipments.

Temporary Inventory & Site Representative

Setup and maintain company cycle count system and calendars using company’s Sage MAS500 ERP system.

Perform product cycle counts and update system verifying and resolving any discrepancies.

Setup and conduct annual physical inventories for distribution center. 

Setup and conduct semiannual audits of sales representative’s inventories.

Main contact for insurance and police issues.

Verify missing picks by warehouse personnel and update system if necessary.

Verify transactions affecting inventory in ERP system created by department managers and customer service department.

Create all company purchase orders and verify pricing with company contracts. Create receipt folder for each PO to contain invoice for payment. Forward purchase order for eyewear to factories in Japan and Italy and get confirmation of receipt.

Inspect and count product receipts against vendor invoice, calculate landed costs, and receive into ERP system. Forward receipt folder to accounting department for payment.

Contact and resolve discrepancy issues with factories and vendors for receipts. Notifying both our company’s owners and managers and the factory’s owners and managers for eyewear issues.

Approve all PO payments by the accounting department.

Maintain and update Factory Production (Receiving) Log. Contact factory weekly for updates of receipt dates for frame models. Write weekly letter to company owners, managers, sales reps, and customer service concerning receipts and production schedules.
  
Create new product and UPC’s in ERP system.

Seasonally, create Excel spreadsheet of new eyewear frame data for upload by IT department.

Direct and maintain jewel frame program.

Write company manuals for use of MAS500 for inventory and accounting functions.

Fix FIFO layer pricing in ERP system as required by accounting department.

Liaison to owners, outside auditors, and bankers concerning inventory.

Help coordinate annual expositions in New York, Las Vegas, and Europe.
