Executive Assistant Marketing

Over the course of my professional career, I have handled a variety of roles and responsibilities and have shown growth in each position. 

I am currently the Executive Assistant to the Senior Director of Brand Marketing for the Tahoe region of Vail Resorts. This position has allowed me to expand my skills and knowledge of the ski industry outside the front line and operations side. I have spent the past six years working side by side with the Senior Director of Brand Marketing and Management team to develop and execute brand marketing strategic plans, business plans and campaigns for Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood Mountain Resorts. Our yearly plans and goals are derived from data analytics including market share analysis, direct customer market research and financial results.

I currently work closely with the Executive teams at both the resort and corporate level.  My duties include building complex budget systems and over site of all budget management including financial commitments, monthly financial forecasting, and AP processing all within SOX compliance standards. In 2014 the marketing budget came in within 1% of the yearend financial forecast, the closest in all of Vail Resorts. I am responsible for all daily operations of the marketing departments

From 1997-2009 I worked for the Kirkwood Ski and Board School and Expedition: Kirkwood as the Administrative Manager. I created and managed a complex payroll system for a staff of over 75 and handled all daily, weekly, monthly and yearly financial tracking systems for the department. I was a key member of a team that built the sales and product systems for the Ski and Board Schools as well as all front line departments for the resort.  I worked closely with all operations departments in all aspects of the business including all front line departments as well as Accounting, Human Resources and Mountain Operations. 

I am always willing to work outside of my scope of duties and enjoy being a team player. I am a very systems orientated person that always looks and always strives to be efficient. I feel that my unique background has provided me with the tools necessary for a role within your organization.

Senior Executive Assistant for the Senior Director of Brand Marketing Lake Tahoe
•	Develop strategic marketing plans for Tahoe region resorts, including data analysis to drive specific campaigns and products.
•	In partnership with marketing management group, execute marketing campaigns at all three Tahoe resorts according to their unique brand attributes
•	Collaborate with Heavenly Executive and Vail Resorts corporate teams in all aspects of marketing to drive business.														
•	Execute Women’s Ski Initiative for all of Vail Resorts, including product development				and program marketing 																																				
•	Oversee daily operations of marketing department for Tahoe resorts.
•	Fiscally responsible for marketing budgets resulting in accuracy to within less than 1% of year- end forecast.
•	Responsible for building marketing budgets for two resorts totaling eighteen different departments.
•	Execute all marketing related contracts for services and events including purchase orders and insurance requirements
•	All Human Resources functions for departments including on boarding staff and payroll

•	Responsible for oversight of operations for Ski and Board Schools and Expedition: Kirkwood, including the development and implementation of programs and systems for daily operations including all tracking, payroll and training programs.
•	Created and managed complex payroll system that encompassed Ski and Board School needs.
•	Played key role in designing and maintaining all operating systems for entire resort, including hiring, training, daily operations and all resort software systems.
•	Worked closely with Kirkwood marketing department to promote and develop new programs
•	International Recruiter for entire resort, traveled to New Zealand, Australia, Peru, Brazil, Argentina and Chile hiring seasonal staff for all departments. 
•	Assisted in building women’s specific ski program for Expedition: Kirkwood.
