Summary

Edit
I am an aspiring designer, full of young blood, with proven customer relations on the search for a career that will utilize my art and creativity. I am passionate, driven, and dedicated. I am confident to take charge of a situation and to also provide feedback. I can communicate clearly among peers and able to meet deadlines. Growing up on the East coast I lived in a very visually stimulating area, which only helped to fuel my creativity. I graduated with a BA in Art with a concentration in Graphic Design in 2012 from Castleton University. Since then I have worked my way into the design niche by means of freelance and have found myself in the city of Los Angeles California. I focus mainly on print design/ branding. I have taken a web development /design course at CCV but have been self teaching myself since then. My weapons of choice are Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Fireworks, and Dreamweaver. Since graduating, I was first employed at Awesome Graphics in early 2012. While working there I was able to tone in my customer service skills, fine tune my adobe suite knowledge and even learn how to print / install vehicle graphics. I have also worked for the Vermont Brewery Festival. The director of the event commissioned me to edit / re-design the information booklet as well as re-design name tags / badges for the employees. My most current job was with Nixon Watches. I started back in May 2014 up until August 2015. My role was that of a Sales Representative and Specialist for the brand in New England. While there I had to manage the day-to-day relationships with existing customer base and new prospects in assigned territory. I was able to provide excellent product knowledge and customer service. I was also responsible to take orders and inquiries via incoming calls, walk in appointments, and email as well as perform order and data entry with precision in a given time frame. One of my most loyal freelance clients are with Darkside Snowboards. For them I also create t-shirt graphics, flyers, event posters etc. My second is with White Flag Sales and Burton snowboards. For them I have designed logos, event flyers, and apparel design. I create designs that are functional but provoke reaction and feeling. I'm always on the lookout for any projects, be they small or large. I'm young, quick on my feet with a keen eye for detail. I am eager and approach any challenge head on. I'm always out to learn more and to grow as an artist and designer.
