Human Resources Administrative Associate

I have gained over five years of experience while in the Human Resources field and have earned my Bachelor's degree in Business Management with a focus in Human Resource Management and Marketing. I plan to continue my education to earn my PHR certification and am looking to further my career.

Work directly with the Director of Human Resources and hiring managers to determine staffing needs, position requirements and timelines as part of the full-cycle recruitment process.  Coordinate and process employee on boarding and oversee benefits administration.  Tasks include:
 
•	Maintain an effective and compliant employee recruiting/selection process
•	Maintain and efficient and effective hiring process including personnel requisition forms, background searches, I-9 completion and EEO records
•	Schedule and conduct initial HR interviews 
•	Administered all assessments including the Predictive Index Survey
•	Complete initial OIG & GSA checks before hire and monthly thereafter
•	Communicate verbal job offers and prepared written offer/acceptance letters
•	Manage Employee Referral Program
•	Act as a liaison with employment and advertising agencies
•	Work with managers on updating position descriptions, core competencies and compensation agreements on an on-going basis
•	Administer employee benefits programs including open enrollment, claims resolutions, change reporting and annual enrollment processes
•	Coordinate benefit enrollments and terminations with accounting department to resolve payroll issues regarding benefits; coordinate FMLA requests and records
•	Process and track COBRA enrollments and administration
•	Responsible for creating and maintaining database of all job descriptions, interview questions and HR SPBs including Employee Handbook SPBs
•	Coordinate employee performance review communications with supervisors
•	Assist with employee recognition programs as needed

Served as a cashier and customer service representative.  Daily duties included:

•	Assisted customer with purchases
•	Worked with vendors to place inventory orders, and recorded and maintained fuel inventory 
•	Reconciled and processed invoices nightly
•	Balanced cash drawer and reconciled lottery items
•	Trained and acted as shift supervisor for new employees
•	Recorded and maintained fuel

Customer Service Representative

Served as the lead Front Desk Receptionist and Membership Sales Consultant.  Daily duties included:

•	Trained and lead new team members and internal staff
•	Conducted regular team, group and individual meetings
•	Reviewed and processed all membership contracts for accuracy and completeness
•	Developed and maintained solid working relationships with business owners, vendors, members and guests
•	Greeted and members and guests and provided facility tours to first time visitors to effectively market and sell fitness
•	Assigned and directed special projects

Front Desk Receptionist/Membership Sales Consultant

Provided direct support and assistance to the Director of Human Resources.  Daily duties included:

•	Processed all new hire, employees changes, and termination in HR Systems
•	Maintained employee database and implemented ADP system to move from mainframe system
•	Administered skills assessments and completed pre-employment background checks
•	Created position descriptions and reviewed with department managers
•	Prepared benefit packets and assisted with annual open enrollment
•	Assisted legal department by gathering information for internal and external audits
•	Transcribed letters, memos, minutes and other documents for HR department
•	Created working filing and tracking system for HR department
•	Updated, maintained and assisted in development of forms and arranged for storage in accordance with compliance guidelines
