The clothing of tomorrow pairs the functionality of active-wear with the style sought by fashionable consumers. While a student at NC State University, I've gained the knowledge and practiced the skills necessary to create and deliver the products of the future. My studies in Fashion Development and Product Management have given me hands-on practice with the tools used by fashion industry professionals, including proprietary software such as Gerber AccuMark and Lectra Modaris. Beyond the classroom, I've worked with designers and manufacturers by interning for L. C. King Manufacturing. My experience stretches from the creation of design concepts all the way through to mass production. From selvage jeans to leather handbags, I've worked with accomplished business owners and production managers to create American-made products that stand the test of time. Having the opportunity to collaborate with every person involved from conception to production under one roof supplied a special opportunity that has prepared me for the fast-paced fashion industry. Every stage of production presents a unique challenge; challenges I'm ready to take on. Design and digital pattern-making are areas of high interest interest for my professional career. I'm looking for opportunities to work within the fashion industry in production and design capacities, and I'm looking forward to connecting with professionals in the industry.
