Freelance Designer

I thrive on building a deep understanding about users and then designing the best possible experience for them. Whether physical, digital or both the experience is what drives my designs. User research is a big part of my process. My inspiration and design principles for a given project often develop out of consumer research. There is nothing that I enjoy more in design than building prototypes and getting the prototypes into the hands of real people for feedback.

As an Industrial Designer I conducted user research, created concepts, built prototypes, and collaborated with Planning, Management and Engineering on both incubation projects and projects on the road map, most notably the Halo Xbox 360 Special Edition, Xbox One Controller and the Xbox One Play & Charge Kit.

As a Junior Design I worked collaboratively with the Lead Designers to design cell phones intended for social networking teens. My responsibilities included concept design and generation of renderings and appearance models for key milestones

As an User Experience Designer I developed user experience scenarios and interface flows that explored experiences possible by Windows Mobile 7 and Zune Music joining forces.
