I grew up in Evergreen, Colorado with a passion to be constantly learning new things and being outside. My military based family taught me structure, respect, leadership, and obedience at a young age. I stayed very active growing up competing in four Varsity athletics at Evergreen High School which consisted of cross country, swimming, skiing, and women's soccer. I also participated in Key Club. I eventually went to Fort Hays State University on a soccer scholarship and a chance to start the soccer program at FHSU. I have just recently completed my four years of soccer at FHSU with the most successful season we have ever had, with my team finishing third in the MIAA, and myself being awarded with First Team All Conference and Second Team All Region. I was also a captain for the squad. Now, I am finding other ways to keep myself busy. One of those include being a part of the student leaders of FHSU in a group called VIP Student Ambassadors. Another is coaching a successful U12 boys soccer team. I am a double major of Math and Education, in training to be a Secondary School Math teacher. My two degrees have taught me a lot. Math has helped me master problem solving and critical thinking, while my Education degree has prepared me to work well with others, patience, and excellent public speaking skills.
