As an aspiring young Footwear Designer I am seeking the opportunity to grow and learn within an engaging and competitive atmosphere. I am looking for the opportunity to build necessary experience in such a fast paced and ever-changing field. Some of my past experience includes:
As a past footwear intern I have created 6 pairs of shoes that will be going to market in the coming 2016 seasons... with that said I am familiar with the process and and steps taken in creating and producing a market ready product. I can read and correct shell patterns and blueprints, rotate color and materials on patterns as well as read seasonal briefs and create color trends. I am versed in tooling and the material processes of midsoles and outsoles i.e. compression molding, direct injection,vulcanizing, etc. I have also worked designing around lasts as well as understanding different last techniques strobeling, cement lasting, etc.
