Assistant Buyer - The Village Hat Shop

- Support new product selection through following up on tradeshow product leads, analysis of trends, customer and market data, samples, and coordinating with head buyer

- Ensure replenishment of merchandise by reviewing daily stock vendor reports and placing product fill in orders for Southern California stores and warehouse 

- Enter and follow-up on purchase orders, communicate and maintain good relationships with vendors

- Recommend changes in product mix and assortment to achieve sales goals 

- Attend MAGIC fashion tradeshow twice yearly to meet with vendors and preview the new 
collections;  keep abreast of industry changes and product updates
