After receiving my degree in Business Management from San Diego State University in 2010, I began my professional career at a small start-up technology company in Oceanside, CA. By beginning my career at such a small company, I had an exciting opportunity to learn about many different aspects of business. I have been able to gain invaluable experience in fields such as: Account Management, Sales, Marketing, Team Management and Operations. Currently, SkoolLive employs over three dozen people and has established the nation's largest digital media network to ever exist directly on school campuses. The beauty of working for such a small company is the opportunity it offers to perform many different tasks that would typically be outside of your job description. I feel that from my experience working at a start-up, I have gained that “whatever it takes” attitude that all great employees must exhibit to be successful in today’s business environment. Another strength that SkoolLive has given me is a unique business acumen that may only be acquired in an entrepreneurial environment. In the five short years I have been out of college, I have been able to gain invaluable experience in not only my chosen field, but many others as well. It is a great asset to be able to understand the bigger picture and see the value of your work, rather than having “cubicle vision” and only focusing on one task, day-in and day-out. I am interested in finding a position at an established company that will enable me to continue the growth of my professional knowledge and skills as well as one that offers plenty of opportunities for advancement.
