I pursued a degree in Anthropology & Geography as a means to gain knowledge about various sorts of human connections and the way culture, environment, and design affects these human connections. I have gained a wide variety of cross-cultural perspectives through my studies and I now want to take this knowledge and apply it by pursuing professional work related to how humans collaborate in spaces. For my concentration, I opted for an Individualized Course of Study in Cross-Cultural Behavior & People Management as a way to connect my liberal studies and knowledge to the more applicable business and environmental psychology realm of studies. By doing so, I managed to gain the appropriate knowledge and experience from Cal Poly's Orfalea College of Business, allowing me to peak my interest in pursuing work in the entrepreneurial realm. A mantra that never fails to help me in acknowledging and practicing compassion - "People vary more within the groups than vary between groups."
