Merchandise Assistant- Newborn, Kid Boy, & Toddler Boy

I am a FIDM alumni who has a professional and educational background in merchandising and product development. I am proficient in adobe illustrator, photoshop, and MS/excel. I understand the principles of design, fit analysis, trend forecasting, and garment construction. I am seeking a career in product development to build on my experience.

Help pull, organize, and maintain shipment and production samples.
Participate in product reviews discussing design, pricing and quality
Manage the exchange of samples between merchants and other internal teams (Web, Visual, and PR teams) Data entry and updating of purchase orders, detail sheets, and on order as needed.

Responsible for uploading preliminary units.
Assist merchants with SKU tracking, creation, and reporting.
Create and update seasonal line sheets, input style numbers and style details Support Merchandiser in creating and ranking assortments by season and lines. Help pull, organize, and maintain shipment and production samples.

Assist Buying team with Market week preparations

Retail Buying Intern

Prepare production samples to be sent to retailers and factories.
Update tech packs and cut fabric swatches for Spring 2013 “White” collection.
Receive, sort, and organize production samples.
Review garment sizing and grading during the develop!ment process. Attended fittings when needed.
