I graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Textile & Apparel Design in December 2013. After graduation, I decided to travel and work in Australia for a year. For the past five months, I had been interning at Daughters of Simone (bohemian wedding gowns) and working at Anthropologie in New York.

-Assisted and carried out Spring 2015 'NYC Bridal Week' buyer presentations  
-Increased DOS Instagram followers up +3,000 (24K total followers), via strategic in-house methods 
-Developed the database for, and reported on, tracking the initial customer to eventual end sale 
-Managed designers' showroom and conducted all bridal fittings 
-Assisted designers' on a brand collaboration collection; set design for collection shoot, garment construction, and shoot day-of schedule 
-Assisted designers with illustrating, designing the upcoming Bridal Collection, sourcing fabrics and sewing gown samples

Intern/Fitting Coordinator

-Assisted customers by offering styling advice, grabbing sizes, ordering products, answering questions/phone calls and ringing transactions
-Maintained store standards and cleanliness
-Restocked apparel on sales floor to maintain volume and size variety

Sales Associate - Apparel Team

-Promoted from a general sales associate to a competitive commission-based shoe sales associate
-Assisted customers with finding the right size, style and fit
-Built sales by informing customers of upcoming trends and product features
-Exceeded individual daily sales goals (approximately $2,000) each shift
