Sr. Project Engineer

I have eighteen years of experience in manufacturing engineering of steel and welded steel construction, with proven performance in Project Management, extensive knowledge of 3D CAD, a strong work ethic, excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills. Extensive experience designing aviation ground support equipment in an ISO 9001 certified company.  I work closely with production and quality assurance to address manufacturing issues.

Project management for multiple design projects;
Manage and supervise design engineers and drafters;
Manage customer technical support issues, as the primary point of contact for national and international customer support;
Lead product evaluations and risk assessment teams for CE certification;
Manage Autodesk Vault PDM system;
Develop complex aviation Ground Support Equipment designs from concept through preliminary and critical design reviews, prototype development, qualification testing and production;
Responsible for product research and development;
Coordinate with customers to determine design requirements and project schedules;
Work closely with production to quickly and constructively address manufacturing and quality issues;
Disposition non-conforming products and corrective/preventative actions and performed root-cause analysis;
Plan and conduct product testing and evaluate test data to ensure design goals are met;
Develop and maintain product records including production drawings, service bulletins, operations manuals and test reports.
