January 2010 - Present As Art Director of the independent mountain bike magazine I have overseen the production of the top selling issues from Dirt Rag’s 25 year history as well as a 20% increase in paid circulation. I have been responsible for the layout and visual collaboration between full-time staff, freelance artists and photographers cover-to-cover. I have a solid understanding of print production and file prep for pre-production. Other responsibilities have included merchandise designs for soft goods, marketing materials, product reviews, event coverage, and the conversion of print issues for e-reader tablet newsstands. My goal is to use my experience and insight to help a brand that I believe in communicate it's passion to customers.
