Product Development Intern

I want to design products that encourage people to get outside and experience the world around them.

As an intern for Bluekiwi, I worked on real world designs and had the opportunity to revise product samples in soft goods factories in Shenzhen, China. This real world experience has shaped my view of the steps beyond the design process, including communication with manufacturers. 

My strengths include concept generation, model making, prototyping form as well as developing detailed tech packs.

I am particularly interested in working in the Outdoor Industry and had the privilege to attend OR's Winter 15 show.

Involved in the design and development of Fall 2016 apparel and hard goods. Working on tech packs, apparel boards, and anything necessary to supplement the design and development team.

Oversee the Wood, Metal, and Rapid Prototyping shops, perform general shop upkeep, guide and instruct fellow students in various techniques of model making.

A small startup lifestyle company looking to bring a higher level of design and quality to the Diaper Bag industry.

Currently working in a team to develop soft goods from the concept stage through to production-ready technical drawings and photoshop renderings. Multiple products are being prototyped in China.
