I’m a passionate skateboarder looking for an opportunity in the skate industry. I am currently employed in the fabrication shop at SPM Design building P.O.P., custom displays, and installing window vinyl. My long term goal is to work with internal sales or design/fabrication for a leading skate company.
I’ve got an interesting story. I’ve been in the retail skate industry for 10 years. I know about product, and how to present it. I know how to work with customers. I’ve been involved in the buying and merchandising side, as well as online content and sales. In addition, I’m a skilled wood worker…and that may bear some importance or have some application for your company. I could start in lots of places: the factory, in the design department, or with customers.
Additionally, I think it’s important to mention that I’ve got an entrepreneurial streak. I started a small wax company, funded out of my own pocket. I’m doing an e-commerce business and I’ve developed a specialized product for skaters. I have all of these elements- skate passion, skilled craftsmanship in woodworking, and a small business of my own promoting skating. I want to put that to work with a great company. I am willing to start wherever. If you need someone to sweep the floor and clean the trash cans, I’m your guy. I just want to get in the door and show you what I can do.
