Over the past 35 years, I have worked in the outdoor industry designing, developing, and sourcing a wide range of products for some of the major outdoor brands. I have experience with gear products including day packs, technical backpacks, travel gear, ski gear, tents, sleeping bags, dog gear, dry bags, bike cart systems, electronic components, appeal, outerwear, and footwear.

In addition to my extensive background, I offer exceptional organization and communication skills with the ability to work well in both team-oriented and self-driven environments, locally and across the globe. 




•	Founded company to deliver new product line based on the need for increased market share by 20%
•	Strategically designed, developed, and sourced over 45 styles in the first year

Senior Sourcing Manager

•	Manage a team of 5 product managers to ensure projects are appropriately assigned and tracked
•	Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
•	Build and manage the product lines for the International Pokémon center eCommerce site 
•	Manage $650 million USD eCommerce products to distribute worldwide
•	Manage the opening of new countries and the products allowed to sell in these areas and meet all standard guidelines and laws
•	Relationship building with Asian and USA factories to build product line to commercialization
•	Build a QA/QC program that exceeds industry standards around the world
•	Create proposals and briefs for internal clients
•	Reduce product and packaging waste by 70% and move to more sustainable material to build for the future

Manager, Production

•	Responsible for profitability and creation of new and carry-over styles to increase 1 million dollars the first year 
•	Launched over 20 new design styles with 80 carry-over styles between 2 offices to increase of 5% new growth
•	Lead team of designers and developers between 2 states to ensure new and updated products completion
•	Manage sourcing fabric, construction of new and carry-over products to reduce cost by 5% per season
•	Lead market research, design, development from idea creation to product completion
•	Collaborate with the shipping department to ensure consolidated containers to ports from Asia ports 

Senior Product Development Manager

•	Manage global vendor strategy, product costing/placement and oversee vendor communication 
•	Strategically sourced and development of over 96 styles per quarter over 7 countries branded stores
•	Oversaw factory allocation for outdoor gear, footwear and accessories lines through commercialization 
•	Achievement of reducing costs to exceed target IMU goals by 2% each quarter
•	Managed and audited up to 30 international suppliers and factories for pricing and compliance
•	Built a new PLM system to execute new specification packages for gear and footwear lines

Manager of Sourcing & Development of Gear, Gear Accessories & Footwear

•	Managed the development of the REI private brands camping products including technical packs, day packs, ski packs, dog gear, bike packs and panniers.
•	Worked with Designer to interpret their design concept package and use CS5 & Enovia/Technia PLM system to engineer production-ready prototype specifications
•	Worked with our sourcing team and overseas vendors to make our products and ensure specification accuracy, as well as traveling to the factories overseas to inspect, work and collaborate with our vendors to build our products to meet our specifications

Gear Developer

•	Managed EMS branded camping products including, tents, sleeping bags, full size packs, day packs, travel packs and travel accessories. Design products and work with new designers to interpret their design concept package and use PLM systems to engineer production-ready prototype specifications
•	Worked with overseas vendors to create our products and ensure its accuracy, as well as traveling to the factories overseas to inspect & collaborate with our vendors to build our products to our specifications
