•	Manage the Product Development Assistant through training, mentoring and delegating responsibilities
•	Work closely with the Senior Designer, Technical Designer and Merchant to execute production to calendar milestones set at expected company margins

•	Communicate regularly with factories overseas working through raw material developments, fabric sourcing and garment cost negotiation as well as BOM accuracy updates and order tracking
•	Continuously training new team members on processes and procedures as well company policies
•	Travel to factories both overseas and domestically to work through cost negotiations and better production execution 


•	Work closely with the Designer, Technical Designer and Merchant to execute fabric and fit requirements at expected company margins
•	Heavy cost negotiation with factories and nominated trim and fabric suppliers
•	Heavy fabric development with fabric mills and factory sourcing
•	Heavy data entry in PTC Windchill PLM system and internal Compass line sheet system.
•	Working with wide variety of product including men’s and women’s in active and lifestyle categories
•	Communicated with factories for samples, production progress and raw material developments
•	Review and share tech packs and BOMs from PTC Windchill FlexPLM with factories at each stage of garment development
•	Attend weekly fittings with Design and Technical Design to insure factory is moving through production process correctly
•	Submission of all trims, fabric, and garment developments to Design for approval

Product Developer

- In charge of implementing stringent testing standards and vendor audit program companywide
- Initial tech pack creation, maintaining product information and updating spec sheets accordingly
- Checking all measurement specifications and making fit comments to factory
- Trade show travel manufacturing sourcing
- Flat sketches in Illustrator
- Work closely with Sales/Customer on specific product developments
- Meet with trim/fabric vendors to source new innovative product
- Work closely with factory on developments, garment construction, costing etc...
- Constant overseas and domestic factory communication daily
- Oracle order tracking
- Lab dip approvals, Proto/PP sample approvals, TOP approvals in conjunction with fittings and with customer approval

Product Development Specialist

- Manage schedules and work load of six Purchasing Coordinators daily 
- Directly involved in selection, interview process, as well as hiring decisions for Coordinators
- Run weekly meetings between Domestic Sales Operations and Purchasing dept.
- Set up seasonal buy plan to determine factory moqs were met to place POs
- Heavy Excel use with V Lookups/Pivot tables
- Make sure to adhere to PO generation deadlines set by Management
- Set up reference sheet for all Retail Major accounts to make sure all special PO requirements were met
- Set up, reviewed/edited, approved ERP system training manuals created by the Purchasing team under my direction
- Distributing work assignments during seasonal buy periods, Prioritization setting, Handled personnel issues
- Work with Accounting department and Costing department to confirm any price discrepancies

Purchasing and PO Supervisor

- Interact with and monitor Design team on product development status 
- Complete style costing for Original/Revised/Final costing approval and communicate approvals to Planning department
- Sit in on fittings to better understand comments given as per tech design and to give production imput
- Work closely with Tech Design and Design on garment details to ensure best cost negotiating stance before sending to factory
- Work closely with fabric mills/garment vendors to insure that color approvals lab dip/bulk fabric are sent in a timely manner 
- Communicate daily with Planning/Merchandising/Sales to ensure on time compute and entry of units and finalizations
- Work closely with Tech Design to ensure garment comments went out on time and fit is to BCBG standards
- In charge of creating new style file for any reorder garments in WebPDM and updating BOM information
- Coordinate the efforts of Product Development with weekly meetings
- WIP production tracking with weekly report updating distributed company wide
- Prepare pre-cost information with best estimates of regular line costing to set reasonable wholesale costing
- Negotiate production costs with garment factory/fabric mill
- Weekly report updates for costing markup/ WIP/ product development

Production Supervising Coordinator

- Product Development for Men’s and Women’s Woven, Knits, and Sweaters in the import category from conception to salesman samples
- Communicated daily with overseas vendors and domestic agents to ensure on-time delivery of first prototypes and salesman samples
- Tracked design approvals for lab dips and trim approval to relay information to the vendors and various departments
- Maintained interoffice communication daily with Design, Tech Design, Production, and Merchandising
- Ordered and tracked all fabric/trim orders for salesman samples
- Developed apparel trim, including buttons, snaps, zipper pulls, etc. for all import styles with various trim vendors

Import Product Development Coordinator

- Communicated with overseas and domestic manufacturers on production and quality control issues 
- Received all overseas and domestic finished product 
- Handled all the details for successful import of 85% of company apparel 
- Tracked production TNAs from factory
- Created WIP report per season
- Directed all domestic production in three different local factories with daily communication and frequent visits with onsite inspections
