Program / Project Manager

As a former collegiate athlete I have a lifelong passion for development of quality teams. I enjoy merging my professional skills in project management and financial analysis with my passion for teams and team work. 

I’ve spent the last 11 years as a professional program manager developing my exceptional organizational, communication and virtual team management skills with Hewlett-Packard. Currently I am responsible for 31 improvement projects with oversight of 62 project managers in located in around the globe. I have developed the program’s structure, operating model and communication plan. My duties include leading monthly project reviews with individual project teams and am the focal point for the yellow / red status escalation process, engaging senior management as required to resolve issues and keep projects on track. 

My education and work experience include a strong financial background with a B.S. in Accounting, practicing as a Certified Public Accountant and financial analyst positions at Charles Schwab & Hewlett-Packard.

Program manager for Finance Employee Engagement Program, CFO initiative to improve the Finance employees experience.
- Responsible for leading 31 improvement projects. 
- Oversight of 62 business & IT project managers located in locations worldwide
- Managed a program budget of $32M

- Established standardization of measurement & reporting of project status, reporting content & cadence and executive review content & communication vehicles. 
   
Finance project manager for integration of Scitex, an Hewlett-Packard (HP) acquired company, from pre-acquisition, legacy systems & processes to HP standard system environment & process.
- Led team of 28 global and regional Finance team members.

Communications program manager, Finance workstream for the split of the Hewlett-Packard into two, separate companies - HP, Inc. and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.  
- Responsible for developing and implementing communication strategy for Finance cut-over activities for Finance organization which includes 9,000+ employees worldwide.

Finance project manager for Services AFM project which migrates the Services SAP platform to conform with accounting & fundamentals manual (AFM) standards.
- Led worldwide, cross-business team of 19 Finance and 6 IT experts.
