Throughout college, my passion to write brought me to the School of Journalism and Communication where I studied different types of media and the power of storytelling. I was quickly drawn to the creativity and versatility of the advertising, public relations, and marketing world. During my final year at the University of Oregon, I accepted an internship with Institutional Stove Solutions (InStove). While interning with this local non-profit, I created a successful marketing campaign focused on sustainable economic development, highlighting the positive actions the organization took to create healthy communities in developing countries. During my time at InStove, I was able to combine my knowledge of social media with the fundamentals of planning, managing and executing content on a larger scale. After graduation, I moved back to Southern California and continued working part-time for Triwell Properties Inc. As an Administrative Assistant for a commercial real estate management and investment company, I gained a unique sense of professional awareness and was introduced to general marketing and management techniques, establishing a strong foundation for future opportunities. Within the next few months, I was offered an internship with Chicane Group, a talent management agency in Hollywood, as well as an internship with Leverage Global Partners, a global network of independent real estate brokerages. For the three months I was working with Chicane Group and Gold Standard Sports, I enjoyed using my diligence and adaptability to design creative platforms for clients and further understand an unfamiliar industry. With marketing and real estate experience under my belt, I was welcomed to Leverage Global Partners as a Social Media Communications and Marketing Intern. Guided by the Public Relations Specialist, I quickly understood the importance of collaboration and flexibility to maintain flow within such a close-knit team. As a result of my strong organizational skills, determination, and confidence, I steadily gained a higher level of trust from my colleagues and took on greater responsibilities.
