Marketing Director

For the past nine years I’ve worked my way up through the marketing ranks at Star Magazine. During this time I’ve had invaluable experiences on many levels, from working with both internal teams and outside vendors to daily brainstorms and program executions. I am constantly pushing myself to generate creative and engaging ideas that connect our advertisers with the Star Magazine brand, while also appealing to our readers.

•	Execute marketing programs, from conception to completion including budgets, timelines and deliverables
•	Lead creative brainstorm sessions to conceptualize “big ideas” for revenue-generating programs
•	Align advertisers with the our brand through unique in-book/digital/social/guerilla marketing campaigns while appealing to readers and creating a fun and engaging experience 
•	Attend client meetings with sales representatives to present marketing ideas and strengthen existing relationships
•	Produce client entertaining events from ideation to completion with a goal of breaking new accounts and growing business 
•	Develop advertiser-specific marketing programs that include elements such as advertorials, online/digital/social campaigns and customized events 
•	Work directly with talent/PR personnel to secure talent for various opportunities ranging from on-site appearances to product endorsements
