I am an APICS certified supply chain analyst, am self-motivated, and am well organized.  I am also currently pursuing my CPIM certification to further my supply chain knowledge base.  I enjoy all aspects of Supply Chain Management.  My strengths include purchasing activities, relationship building and development, and planning production activities. I take responsibility for all aspects of purchasing from requisition to delivery and managing the process through production.

My past experiences are in manufacturing and have proven strengths interacting with and supporting customers, suppliers, and employees.  I am experienced in ordering and monitoring inventory from initial setup through production and calculating ROPs.  I enjoy being able to track projects through to successful completion, am conscientious, efficient, and possess a strong work ethic.

Through the variety of roles that I have worked in, I have an incredibly deep understanding of how different systems (mechanical, IT, marketing, supply chain, sales, finance, etc) work together successfully.  I am always learning new things, ways to do things better, faster, cheaper, etc. If you get complacent in your thinking or business, you will loose your edge, customers, passion and creativity. You can always do something better.


o	Managed a global supply base of 100+ suppliers, across 10 different product lines, more than 3,000 individual parts
•	Saved <$85,000 through inventory reduction, order quantities, and re-sourcing initiatives
o	Successfully launched 2 NPI projects and transitioned current product/inventory through obsolescence
o	Worked with cross-functional teams (engineering, product managers, planning, etc) to meet monthly initiatives and goals.
o	Place PO’s to ensure that flow of materials is un-interrupted
o	Worked with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to identify and resolve quality issues
o	Coordinated invoicing with accounting and suppliers to ensure on-time payment and inventory accuracy

Buyer - Flow/Sampling and Particle Counting

o	Coordinate procurement of materials from 15 suppliers, range of A, B and C components
•	Achieved 99-100% on-time delivery with all suppliers
o	Accountable for ~$5 million worth of inventory, including all raw materials (stainless steel, aluminum, tubing)
o	Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, communicate required specifications, delivery requirements
o	Track orders from vendors to ensure timely delivery, coordinate with logistics and transportation companies
o	Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers
o	Use MRP system to streamline production and maintain inventory control

Buyer/Production Planner

o	Managed suppliers, negotiated contracts, and successfully reduced costs while increasing quality
o	CRM data base management, construction, data entry (detail oriented)
o	Championed cost saving projects and managed projects to completion
