Product Development Manager

Product Development Professional responsible for managing the technical and design aspects of product development and production across multiple textile categories through overseeing the development process and team from idea generation to market placement.

•Direct product development efforts on a project basis to deliver product in a timely matter to most major retailers
•Protect profit margins by balancing target costs with design aesthetic, fabric/product construction, and order quantities
•Coordinate purchasing and development efforts with US and Overseas teams to meet customer ship dates
•Collaborate with Merchandising and Design teams on trend forecasting and analyses

•Responsible for nurturing customer relationships, ultimately managing client assortment direction- including product recommendation, planning, and inventory maintenance

•Analyze and present market competitive analyses for customers
•Clearance inventory management including coordinating sales team clearance meetings and providing availability and allocation updates
•Submitting vendor purchase order requests
•Client meeting preparation including collecting samples and organizing agendas

Junior Sales Account Manager

•As sales assistant was in charge of maintaining client details to assist Account Managers across multiple accounts and categories.
•Customer sales order processing
•Submit samples for clients- both for initial meetings and production samples
•Perform market competitive analysis and provide data to account managers
