Product Developer

*Issue cut tickets to sample room for internal proto's, SMS or production samples

Product Development & Production Assistant

Collaborate with design in creating direction for new seasonal needs. Research and source new innovative trending materials from the runway. Up to date on new fiber resources and movements in market. Organize and maintain fabric library. Worked with Product Development Manager to build strong relationships with all material suppliers and negotiate for best costs. Oversee and coordinate the development process from materials into product development and pre-production. Communicate directly with design, mills, and overseas factories daily on all product development needs, including following up on all submit approvals, including: fabric submits, lab dips and artwork strike off’s. Facilitate color selection process and manage/set up seasonal color standards for factories and mill’s. In charge of RTW development budget seasonally, updated at all times and work within budget guideline. Troubleshoot and think “outside the box” to offer creative solutions to work within budget. Product Developer and Fabric R&D

Conducted trend research and organized all inspiration for upcoming seasons. Created mood boards for concept, color, fabric, style, issue and mood. Created and maintained sketch binder and line sheets. Updated sketches, color combinations, style cards and spec sheets after fittings. Created design packets for sales and marketing presentations. Assisted with fittings and model casting. Assisted with all shows such as Spring/Summer 2014, Fall/Winter 2014 and Spring Summer 2015. Also assisted with Pre-Fall 2014, Resort 2015 and Pre-Fall 2015. Worked backstage dressing and lining up models for the Spring/Summer 2014, Fall/Winter 2014 and Spring/Summer 2015 shows.
Worked closely with operations and logistics on various projects as needed. Created and maintained supportive relationships and worked as a team player with co- workers, interns, and managers of all levels to establish a positive and creative work environment.
