Initially known for working with Michael Jackson on the music video, Remember the Time, Courtney went on to choreograph the short film "Ghosts" and iconic "Dangerous" performance for the King of Pop on the 1995 MTV Awards. He was also one of the choregoraphers on the most expensive music video ever made "Scream". He's choreographed the Disney film "Cheetah Girls" and "A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas", with Neil Patric Harris, and live performances featuring Britney Spears, Usher, and Beyonce'.

After choreographing several musical and dance episodes of the television show "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia", Courtney was inspired to write and direct his first short film, a hip-hop musical, while attending film school.

Set over three different time periods in American history, REPAIRations! tells the story of Isaac, a man looking for work during the end of slavery, the end of segregation, and after President Obama's election.

He's currently writing several projects including a feature film, set in the dystopic future, a 12 episode web-series, and an original half hour comedy.

He's also been tapped to direct the feature film "The Chosen Guard" set to begin filming in Egypt in 2018.
