I am a polished professional with a history of success in large-scale purchasing operations with a global petroleum provider. Currently, I am serving as a Disaster Services Purchasing Volunteer with the American Red Cross. In that capacity, I provide disaster operations support through purchasing supplies and needs specific to events through our network of preferred vendors. Simultaneous with that I also finished UCSD’s Purchasing and Supply Management Certification Program within the Rady School of Management while I raised my infant children. My last position was as an International Buyer with Conoco-Phillips’ Oil Company production facilities in Algeria where I enjoyed a history of successive promotions and responsibilities. I also was instrumental in providing synergy during the purchase of the company by Conoco-Phillips. In that position, I successfully managed cross-divisional communications with technical, scientific, and engineering personnel to ensure proper specifications and materials, provided cross-divisional communications with finance and accounting and directed control and purchasing operations with vendors based in UK, EU and USA including complete documentation and communications in English, French, and Arabic languages. I am experienced in all aspects of purchasing and procurement operations, client relationship management, adherence to critical path schedules, product and market research, and comprehensive regulatory compliance activities.
