As a Store Manager I am accountable for ensuring that the store meets or exceeds its sales and financial goals and ensuring that the company is providing exceptional customer service and contributing toward the company’s overall goals as set forth by the senior management team. I ensure that the work place is a safe, productive, and positive environment for our associates. My major focus is on the sales effort-both the in-store sales (transactions on the sales floor, phone and email) and outside sales effort. I work closely with Account Managers to ensure a strong business development program is being executed. Additionally, I ensure that all sales people are kept up to date on business and product developments. 
I Train, develop, and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service. I strive to create an environment where associates are excited about providing exceptional service and contributing to the company’s success.		
I manage store purchasing, prepare for and take physical inventories within guidelines established by senior management, and maintain accurate and optimal inventory levels . Communicate with Account Managers to make sure correct inventory is on hand for customers. 	 
I am directly involved with vendor and customer relations at the store level.
I manage the daily activities of Account Managers, Sales Associates, Operations staff, Alterations staff, and Asst. Store Manager.
