With degrees in both fine art and graphic design, Kelly brings a unique set of skills to any project or company that comes her way. Her previous experience ranges greatly as a member of an in-house marketing team in the casino/gaming industry, to positions as a three-dimensional product and packaging designer, to her freelance career building identity and branding systems for companies large and small. In addition, Kelly has gained experience and is well versed in working with licensed artwork from Disney, United Kingdom Greetings and Waverly Traditions. Former management positions in the customer service industry have proved to be extremely valuable and provided Kelly with an indepth understanding of customer experience and needs. In every position she has held, Kelly has set standards for excellence, organization and high levels of creative problem solving.

Kelly is an expert in Adobe Suite (illustrator, indesign and photoshop). She has experience working with and preparing files for both overseas and domestic vendors. Kelly has completed Leadership Mentoring Programs and is comfortable presenting in front of groups as well as leading and providing direction for creative teams. 


• Responsible for designs in textiles, home décor, paper goods and other hard and soft goods
• Building mechanical files from concept to complete vendor-ready production for a variety of goods across multiple file formats and with awareness of printing techniques
• Translates innovative conceptual designs into fully formed collection themes as well as individual, stand-alone designs 
• Demonstrates design sensibilities that range from sophisticated to novelty driven
• Remaining in step with current various home décor trends and adept at interpreting them for the categories of business
• Creates unique product designs that relate to the appropriate Christmas Tree Shops and That! seasonal themes 
• Collaborates in print selection from vendors, seasonal trend and vision boards, and project initiatives
• Experience working with Waverly licensed patterning- color separation, approval process + production
• Manages multiple assignments, deadlines and deliverables for projects
• Ability to communicate clearly and comprehensively regarding how designs respond to the strategic intent of a project and support the brand or category
• Pushes for strong design solutions with internal clients through influencing
• Ability to effectively work with individuals and groups; ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Expert user of Adobe Creative Suite and all Adobe programs on MAC: (Photoshop & Illustrator)

Freelance Designer

• Participate in the creative development of seasonal and everyday product.
• Communicate the visual personality of our brands.
• Present and defend work within the Creative team.
• Execute designs to each project as needed.
• Exhibit excellent graphic ability, including but not limited to typography, layout and illustration, with a strong understanding of its application to 3 dimensional product.
• Responsible for the creation of graphic files, production files, color conversions and application of brand standards to product and packaging.
• Manage creative deadlines and personal timelines.
• Review vendor proofs + samples during the design phase as needed
• Communicate with overseas and domestic vendors regarding graphic files, trouble shooting as needed.
• Sets standards and oversees all files created for production to be sent to overseas vendors.
• Experience working with Disney Licensing- process + production
• Researching and understanding current trends in the market and how to apply them to product
