I am a recent graduate of Temple University's School of Media and Communication. During my time as an undergraduate, I have interned at Philadelphia's #1 daily free newspaper, The Metro News. There, I learned how to understand what the audience wanted to read and tailor my writing to that. Additionally, I worked in Temple University's Office of Strategic Marketing and Communications as Assistant Editor. During my time there, I gained real life marketing and communication experience in a higher education setting. Aside from writing content, I took part in focus groups relating to advertisements of the university and conducted research on its social media outlets. Presently, I am the Marketing and Social Media summer intern at I'm Sorry to Hear, a Philadelphia-based start up. During this internship, I have created content for their website and social media outlets as well as work closely with the founder in creating marketing strategies.
