Worked with the CEO and Board of Directors to get the company out of debt and to grow. Responsible for all monies coming in and going out of the company. Sole person in Accounting, therefore I did all of the bookkeeping, budgeting and forecasting, payroll, check deposits, tax preparation, tax filings, reconciliations, and auditing. I supervised all aspects of the office. Manager of eight employees (ranging from clerks, marketing analysts, cleaning staff, restaurant employees, and maintenance workers). Trained all new employees. Represented the company at conferences. Coordinated the addition of another building to the property. Created new revenue streams and attractions to the site. Responsible for creating and maintaining hiking and biking trails, as well as supervising the bike rental department of the company (I started both the hiking and biking divisions in order to bring more people to the company). Introduced a new point of sales system that saved money and reduced wait time for customers.
