My family owned and operated a sporting goods business in Vermont, which has shaped my career path in the outdoor industry. Most recently my work with the non-profit Portland Buy Local sought to advocate for local business owners and help market their business to local consumers.  I led sales teams in building our membership, and designed marketing campaigns for our business members.  I am personable, hard working and passionate and I am eager to build a career in sales in the outdoor industry.

Working for Portland Buy Local, I grew membership, developed a local benefits card program, led marketing campaigns for local business, organized and executed all events and managed administrative duties for the buy local office.

Director

As a climbing ranger, I assisted in search and rescue operations, maintained trails and trailhead facilities, wrote biweekly climbing and weather advisories, and educated the visiting public on proper backcountry and wilderness travel.

US Forest Service Climbing Ranger

Led multi-day mountaineering summit trips and taught glacier courses with ropes rescue training for Shasta Mountain Guides.

Mountaineering and Ski Mountaineering Guide

Organized and directed on-hill training and off-hill fitness training as well as coordinated logistics for nationwide trips, training and races.

Head Alpine Ski Coach

Interned at Ski Magazine, Skiing Magazine and Warren Miller Films and duties included  promoting events, market research, creative input in marketing campaigns and building relations with advertising contacts.
