Christopher Perez is a native of Los Angeles with more than 12 years in the printing industry.
With experience in both offset and digital print media, as well as costume work in television and film.

Prepared customer supplied artwork to specific company guidelines, generating press ready files. Modified and preflighted art in compliance with company procedures and standards while maintaining an efficient workflow to meet daily production volume requirements. Assisted other production artists with techniques and methods in preparing artwork effectively.

Production Artist I

Responsible for managing the daily post-press production of a digital printing company. Overseeing and operating equipment including but not limited to cutting, scoring, folding, stitching, mounting, and lamination devices. Created and implemented workflow procedures and performed with a team to meet daily production volume requirements.

Bindery/Shipping Manager

Evaluated and identified color values in customer provided swatches/samples. Utilized a variety of electronic prepress programs to analyze, retouch, and color correct per standards and specifications within the fashion industry. Operated and maintained large format printers and heat transferring equipment.

Color Specialist

Assisted with the research, development, and implementation of production workflows and procedures. Performed preflight and quality control tasks daily along with providing clients with technical assistance. Responsible for developing and implementing new methods to standardize the use of department software and equipment.

Production Assistant

Overseeing the day to day activities of the pre-press department. Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating all activities to meet tight deadlines. Performed design, layout and production functions. Tasked with integrating new software and procedures into a pre-existing production workflow.

Production Manager

Assisted with the day-to-day post-press production. Responsible for the development and creation of spreadsheets to increase department efficiency. Assisted with mailing services, including preparing mailing lists as well as operating and maintaining inkjet/addressing equipment.
