I have spent the last 10 years in feature films working in visual effects spending my time whiling away the hours on set and in editorial rooms meticulously combing through images creating perfect specimens for our viewing public.  This has pushed me to draw into my film background more and more.  The imperfections and tangible aspect of film excite me with every roll that goes through my camera.

My goal as a photographer is to bring the abstract things, the far away places and the beautiful stories of the world into every day.  I travel, adventure and seek after amazing images that inspire me to live a more adventurous life, hoping that it may spur someone else to live without borders.

In my career in film I worked on many films, some listed, the rest available on my IMDB page.  My role started as all jobs do, PA, I quickly worked my way up and from 2008 to 2013 I worked primarily as a VFX Coordinator that grew into VFX Producer, set supervision, and some uncredited creative supervising.  These required the gamut of duties including PA and office management, database and hard drive management for 10’s of thousands of shots and data, and extreme organization to be able to say within a few moments where a specific shot was in the process of completion, its notes and when I think I should expect it.  It also required on set shooting and management dealing with all levels of the process.  We also worked with teams and vendors from all over the world including the US, Canada, China, India, Sri Lanka, Singapore, etc.  My main role came down to working hand in hand with the creative supervisors, producers, directors, and studio executives.  Being able to communicate on all levels keeping everyone in the loop.  Problem solving both creatively and physically as new technologies and new problems arose.  Our department was often responsible for anywhere from 5 to 50 million dollars that we had to account for.
