A guitarist on land and sailor on the seas, Peter’s sense of adventure has kept him reaching new heights. His keen perspective and ability to juggle tasks helps him keep one foot in Social Media and another in traditional Public Relations. As Richter7's Social Media Manager, Peter has impressed clients with on-brand, distinct tones in writing content for Facebook, Twitter, blog posts, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+, LinkedIn or Vine. Peter conducted in-depth social media audits with strategic recommendations, coordinated successful SM campaigns involving giveaways/promotions and handled multiple crisis situations through social media. Peter also aided clients with social media monitoring reports with tailored insights to individual industries. As PR Account Manager, Peter has taken multiple clients on publicity tours to New York and other markets, set up local press conferences, radio remotes, grand opening VIP events and has gotten clients on TV programs and in newspapers. Along with rewriting content for multiple banks’ entire websites, Peter has experience training dozens of clients in handling the media. The former PR/Social Media Intern started at Richter7 in 2006, while completing his degree in Public Relations from Utah State University. While writing for USU's newspaper, Peter took an investigative journalism assignment authoring a series of articles uncovering illegal activity of a dean. He contributed to the social media efforts of the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business and for the launch campaign of the India education platform, Pengala. Peter has worked on accounts such as Microsoft, Wendy’s, eBay, Hawaii's Polynesian Cultural Center, Park City Chamber, Zions Bank, C.R. England, Zermatt Resort, MountainStar Hospitals, Macey’s, Ultradent, BRIO Tuscan Grille, Utah Highway Safety Office, Dairy Farmers of Utah and Pizza Inn. When he’s not at work, Peter enjoys sailing, traveling, fishing, performing in concerts and biking with his wife.
