Pipeline Engineer

Junior Level Engineer currently working in the Oil & Gas industry. Looking to take advantage of the Oil commodities downturn and leverage into a move into a industry that more aligns with my interests and passions.

Worked on detailed design of a Gulf of Mexico major project, on the export oil and gas pipeline systems. Duties included:
•	Pressure design according to API RP1111, CFR 192 & 195, ASME B31.4 & B31.8 
•	On-bottom stability design for shallow water 
•	Vortex induced vibration fatigue analysis and submerged span analysis
•	Management of vendor scope of supply including RFQ creation, bid evaluation, and project management 
•	Interfaced with stakeholders on non-operated venture to help influence partners to follow internal practices and procedures where possible.

Worked on FEED and Execute stage of hydrocarbon processing facility located in the Permian Basin. Duties included:
•	Worked with EPC on design stage, facilitating internal reviews with technical authorities
•	Developed document control methodology for transmittal of documents between EPC and company.
•	Developed Project Controls and Assurance Plan for define and execute phases of project
•	Created P&ID’s for process facility
•	Worked across multi-discipline team to ensure safe execution and installation of work scope.

Project Engineer

•	Supported the success of the sales/engineering team by providing technical presentations and recommending solutions. 
•	Performed in-depth assessments to investigate, uncover and understand a client’s issues
•	Assisted engineering team in developing drilling solutions through 3d modeling and creation of fabrication drawings to ANSI Y14.5 standards

Designer

•	Functioned as the liaison between the client and insurance underwriter.
•	Review of method statements for module shipments via barge
•	Assisted the client in developing design criteria for modular components being shipped via barge from Philippines to Queensland, Australia.
•	Designed and oversaw the implementation of stowage and securing plans for 2 LNG cold boxes being shipped to Angola. 
•	Onsite attendance and supervision of loading operations.
