The Belly Up Tavern, Solana Beach has been called "the best music venue, hands down".  I was first called on to manage Wardrobe for Kenny Rogers' concert and have since become the primary person to be contracted for Wardrobe and Backstage Hospitality Management for "big name" musicians.  Musicians have included Kenny Rogers, Alt-J, Kenny Loggins and Zap Mama.

Based out of Encinitas, CA, Maximum Impact Event Productions is a minimally staffed mom-and-pop company delivering an unforgettable WOW experience!  I was trusted to supervise and assist in the production of many types of events.  My responsibilities included: Set-up and breakdown of equipment & props, Intense minute-to-minute adaptation of event timeline to changing needs, Multi-tasking and Communication with partnering service providers such as Caterers and Audio/Visual, Supervision of up to 10 contracted entertainers.

Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa is a family-oriented property located on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. I am primarily responsible for managing a multi-line PBX phone and I also: Delegate tasks to Resort staff, Provide Concierge services, Act as a liaison to Sales Department and clients, Act as Supervisor in absence of staff, Merchandise the retail gift shop and more as needed

Celebrating animators for 30 years in 2013, Spike & Mike’s Festival of Animation has given rise to some now-famous artists!  I was asked to help promote the celebration of their 30th Anniversary Festival and the following year's so-called "Sick & Twisted Festival of Animation".  Marketing channels included: Social media, Print publications (The Coast News), Media kits promoting cross-marketing with partner companies (Hansen Surfboards and The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) and Hand Distribution of complimentary tickets.

Celebrating its 25th Anniversary in 2011, Encinitas, CA is a beautiful and ever-developing coastal town in N. County San Diego.  I was involved in the production of city-wide events including the Holiday Parade, Feeling Fit Festival, Encinitas Arts Festival and Encinitas Environment Day. I worked with the Community & Senior Center to develop marketing materials for activities being offered, updated public announcement boards, set up and broke down events and registered participants using ActiveNet software.

Recreation Services Assistant

In the early 1970's, Hansen's transitioned from a surfboard shaping business into a retail company and quickly became one of the most well-known surf shops in Southern California. The single location in Encinitas, CA is now the largest surf shop in San Diego County.  In the early 2000's, the ever-expanding surf shop opened a department specifically for footwear and I jumped on the opportunity to make the fresh space everything it could be and more!  I was promoted from Sales Associate to Department Manager.  I was then responsible for Shipping & receiving merchandise, Inventory tracking and sales reports for Senior Buyers, Cleaning and restocking sales floor and backstock area, Merchandising, Display construction and  Supervised 4+
