After spending five years bringing my last company into the digital age by spearheading the development and management of their website, I continued to manage the operations remotely for the past year. In addition to six years of professional work experience, I have a B.A. in Mass Media and a Certificate of Proficiency in Digital Publishing. At my previous company, I was a website manager for the corporate office of a national marketing and distribution company. This company was strictly a print company when I arrived, and the host of a thriving website when I left to manage it remotely. Within this company, I gained a wide variety of experience and responsibility within the marketing industry. I coordinated the website launch, ongoing contract maintenance, employee training, overseeing submission procedures, and was promoted to the Manager of Operations in 2012. In addition, I was in charge of content management, the organization of printed and digital archival databases, trade show representation, website QA bug and issue tracking, and proof reading of sales material for publication. During this time, I worked closely with thousands of family-owned, small business, and larger corporate level clients nationwide. Consequently, I have found a great passion for marketing in multiple media formats and the excitement that comes from promoting diverse clients. I am looking to transition into a remote career path that will allow me to use my skills most efficiently.
