Purchasing Manager

I am an experienced, outgoing manager with excellent client and project management skills. I am at my best in a fast paced multi task environment. I currently have six plus years in the Purchasing Dept for a midsized Toy Manufacturer, but I am now looking to work in an environment that will allow me to focus on the Purchasing and Planning areas.

Experienced, outgoing manager with excellent client and project management skills. I am at my best in a fast paced multi task environment. I currently have six plus years in the Purchasing/Planning Dept for a midsized Toy Manufacturer. As with many small sized companies, my current position includes varied responsibilities, all detailed below,  but I am now looking to work in an environment that will allow me to focus on the Purchasing and Planning areas. I feel my high level of professional commitment and desire to handle multiple challenging tasks will make me a huge asset to your company. 
Current Managerial responsibilities include:  
*Responsible for all major US accounts- Wal Mart, Target, Toys R Us, Kmart and Amazon as point person for receiving PO's, then working directly with both the Head Buyers/Account Executives and the Hong Kong office assigned to complete the orders. These major US Accounts generated approximately 50 million dollars in sales last year. 
* Primary point person for daily and weekly  communication with Hong Kong office detailing/confirming materials and inventory scheduling. Maximized 4th qtr sales upward of $600k due to persistent chasing of accounts for final wave orders, in time to affect peak season production. Responsible for communicating/resolving production issues, materials on hand accounting , production scheduling and Customs or shipping issues before they turn into major crisis's. Additionally report on all remaining materials , and how to satisfactorily  close out remaining production.   
Technical Qualifications: 
Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, along with Wal Mart Retail Link and other proprietary retail systems .
