Technology and Operations Manager

Through my career I have been responsible for managing the ongoing support, maintenance, enhancement, and quality assurance of all technology infrastructure and computer operations, which includes data center, co-locations, network and server services, telephony, service monitoring, user support/help desk, workstation management, servers, security, storage, related software and tools, budgets and staff.

Technology
– Provide systems administration for all systems(CRM’s, SaaS).
– Provide first level support for technology issues that may arise, coordinate escalation.
– Provide report development services for CRM’s/SaaS and other systems.
– Responsible for all technology vendor management, including wired and wireless telephony, equipment, network, SaaS, ISPs and systems consultants.
– Develop and maintain standards for all technology equipment and office automation and business specific software.
– Provide project management for all systems development and implementation projects.
– Research and make recommendations for all future additions and modifications.
– Ensure the stability and security of infrastructure, including backup
and recovery processes, data security, including HIPAA compliancy where required, access control, etc.
– Develop and monitor budgets for all technology services and projects.
Facilities
– Provide first level support for all facilities related issues that may arise.
– Responsible for all facilities vendor management, including landlords, utilities, office equipment
and furniture providers, and repair and maintenance services.
– As required, assist in developing office location strategy, develop specific office requirements,
identify office locations, participate with the SVP of Finance in the negotiation of the lease.
– Ensure that all local business licenses are maintained.
– Develop and monitor budgets for all facilities.
Office Management
– Responsible for all office management vendor management, including office supplies, printing, document management and shipping.
Travel Management
– Responsible for management of our travel agency vendor.
– Identify cost saving opportunities related to travel.
Business Resumption (Disaster Recovery) Planning
– Develop and maintain a Business Resumption plan.
– Develop and maintain appropriate vendor relations as required by the plan.
– Provide for periodic testing of the plan.
