Relationships matter, whether that is hunting for new business and calling a large number of people, or networking to get an understanding of what each person does and how you can help each other grow your business. Sales is relationships. In each position I have had I was successful because I built long lasting relationships with my clients and the people I worked with. After years of selling moving services and then frozen carrots I realized deep down I am actually a geek. I have learned a lot about technology and software and I enjoyed being called “computer girl” at trade shows. I realized late in life that I get a kick out of analytics and digging into data and information. I love reports! There, I said it, out loud. I love Reports!!
