My name is Eunbee Jang, and I graduated May of 2015 with a Bachelors of Industrial Design from Pratt Institute. While a student and intern at various production firms and companies (furniture, fashion, to confectionaries), I have been fortunate enough to gain a variety of industry experience and juggle different roles from market and material researching, creating presentations, sketching, proposing ideas, and meeting manufacturers and vendors. Always being in the loop with the latest trends in technology, design has become a way for me to partake in the changes and development of our world. I believe the greatest thing about creating a product is to imagine scenarios in which designs can influence an action or create the need for it, just as I have done in my designs in Hershey’s and for the Afghan Community. But I have been wanting to dive more deeply into a production-focused, innovative environment in which I can learn more about the business and methods of innovation specific to electronics/ mechanics. My goal is to be a leader in the ever-changing industry of design, and bring positive change to the communities.
