After spending two years in the commercial advertising world as a photographic production specialist, I was presented with the opportunity to move into editorial production. Now for the past three years I worked with USA BMX out of Gilbert, Arizona as their in-house editor and photographer for PULL Magazine.
During my time at USA BMX, I was responsible for the majority of planning and producing editorial content each month as well as creating industry leading imagery for not only editorial use but company marketing as well. In addition, I worked with both freelance and staff contributors to coordinate on time delivery of accurate and compelling content. I also worked extensively with my team to develop goals and strategies for the companies social and digital media marketing efforts. We worked heavily with Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, while moving into Vine and Snapchat over the last year.
I believe that going the extra mile for clients and the general public is what sets a company and their product apart from the competition. The experiences I have gained through my time in commercial advertising, editorial production, and multi-media marketing have given me the confidence needed to succeed at any position in the media and marketing field.
