After several years of working in retail  and another year working in front desk client relations at the Embassy suites hotel, I am looking to broaden my horizons. By using my experience in customer relations, sales, organization, and time management I am looking to expand into a full time career in the marketing industry.

I recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing. Through my past occupations, dealing with clients in environments such as a hotel and high end boutiques, I understand the need to be clear and concise, yet warm and helpful during every service transaction with a potential client. I believe in the importance of being a diligent worker, striving for success every day, and excelling at a variety of different tasks.

I was responsible for data entry, marketing research, blog posts, updating Facebook and Linked In pages, and assisted in email marketing campaigns.

Marketing Intern

I was responsible for personal weekly sales goals and contributing to making the stores monthly sales goals. I opened and closed the store, was responsible for paperwork, updating shipment logs, checking in shipment, and overseeing sales associates.

Keyholder

I was responsible for monthly sales goals both personally and as part of a team. Responsible for keeping the store updated visually (merchandised appropriately), provided exceptional customer service, keeping a client book and calling them to come in and working as part of a team

Sales Specialist

I managed a staff on a daily basis, made sure everyone was on track to make their personal goals and the store was on track to make its weekly and monthly targets. I was in charge of scheduling staff members, doing weekly reports, and all of the visual merchandising for the store.

Store Manager

I assisted the Store Manager in making sure the store performed as it should. I was responsible for weekly reports, helping with schedules, and  personal sales goals. I helped track sales associates on where they were with their goals and assess what we needed to do so that the store would make its monthly and weekly targets. I was left in charge when the Store Manager was not there.

Assistant Manager

I was responsible for personal weekly sales goals and contributing to making the stores monthly sales goals. I opened and closed the store, was responsible for paperwork, updating shipment logs, checking in shipment, and overseeing sales associates

I was responsible for personal sales goals that affected the greater store sales. Ability to be part of a team and engage with customers on a personable level.

Sales Associate

Checked clients in and out of the hotel, made reservations for clients, dealt with customer complaints in a courteous manner.
