Manage multiple duties for this legal messenger and document service.  Research court cases in San Diego and Orange County, with an emphasis on real estate laws.  Prepare, file and record documents, including fictitious business names, complaints, bulk sales, mechanics liens, trust deeds and foreclosures.  Rush filings as needed, with 1, 2 or 4 hour service.  Also engage in sales.  Create e-mail and direct mail campaigns and cold-call prospective clients.  Generated extensive repeat business from satisfied clients.

Wrote and edited articles about community events, business news, military news, and pets for print and on-line publication.  Received press releases and followed up to develop stories.  Answered the newsroom hotline and customer inquires.  Also worked on the publication’s web desk.  Coordinated with the copy desk, editors and other reporters to meet deadlines.
