I have six years of professional experience in journalism, photography, and videography. Though my professional title is "video editor," I've spent time as an associate editor and feature editor for one of the top magazine in the action sports industry.

-Editor of feature film: Skills With Nick Wey
-Was brought back to Transworld to help push the growing need for video, and strategize ways to boost the company’s media performance
-Introduced a more professional look to video by creating unique visuals and production style cinematography, separating ourselves from the competition 
-Provided additional support to the edit team by delivering unique website and editorial content in the form of journalism and photography

-Dirt Sports covered off-road truck racing, which required me to build new relationships with a new industry
-Focus was preliminary on editorial, allowing me to write ~20 pages per monthly issue, consisting of features, columns, and small departments
-I introduced the company to professional videography and photography, saving the company money on a need for freelancers
-Spent the last three months as a fill-in Editor in Chief. I had to create content, manage freelancers, and coordinate with publishers to ensure the magazine left the door each month on time, and it did.

Feature Editor

-Editor of feature film: Transworld Motocross – Kickstart 4: The Final Chapter
-First cover shot: Blake Baggett – September 2012 issue
-Managed and produced most of the website video content
-Frequently updated website with not only video, but with photos and editorial
-Wrote numerous interviews, as well as featured articles in monthly magazine
-Experienced photographer in Supercross, motocross, and portraits, and supplied photos for both magazine and web content
-Wrote race reports, shot photos and video, and updated social media outlets at races and events

Associate Editor

-Designed a website to place a spotlight on amateur motocross.
-Created all content for amateur motocross website which
included photos, videos, race reports, and written interviews
-Learned how to design, build, and run every aspect of the CMS- based website.
