Construction Assistant

I'm a recent college graduate who is looking to expand my career. My degree is in Communications, and I also have a minor in Communication Studies. I graduated Cum Laude with a GPA of 3.66. While attending college full time I completed two internships. One as a Social Services assistant where I was responsible for various phone calls and administrative activities. The second internship was at a chiropractic company where I was in charge of helping to market for the company as well as other administrative tasks. I worked three part time jobs in college as well. I was a soccer referee in Orange County where I developed money management,and time management skills. I worked at a coffee and smoothie company where I practiced interpersonal communication skills. The third job where I am working full time right now is a Construction Assistant position. I have learned customer account management, and carpentry skills including tile work, plumbing, and landscaping.

•	Assist the owner with carpentry, bathroom/kitchen remodels, landscaping, tile work, plumbing, and electrical work.
•	Oblige customer request information or price quotes and adjust their plan accordingly.

•	Worked interchangeably between cashier and smoothie maker helping to develop interpersonal communication and time management skills.
•	Responsible for money management after each day, and providing a percentage to each venue worked.

Sales Associate

•	Helped prepare monthly care plan meetings by calling patients families, and sending out reminder mail.
•	Interacted with patients in the hospital, and assisted the activities department with creating activities for the patients to participate in.
•	Filed documents in patient’s medical folders and delivered mail throughout the hospital.

Social Services Intern

•	Assisted the owner with phone calls to various insurance companies, potential clients, and product suppliers.
•	Examined client’s chiropractic insurance coverage details, and created billing statements for patient visits using Microsoft Office technologies.
•	Gained valuable and practical hands on knowledge of customer account management.  
•	Social Media Marketing for the company with the use of Yelp, Twitter, Facebook, and Mail Chimp.

Internship

•	Responsible for ensuring all rules were being properly followed, and player safety was regulated.
•	Expanded knowledge of conflict resolution in a fast pace environment.
